“My involvement with MEC has given me the opportunity to spend time investigating and constructing deeper understanding of Big Ideas in mathematics. The Patterns course helped me discover connections – strengthening my understanding of each content area. I am also learning to represent and communicate mathematical thinking in a variety of ways.”  -  Elementary Teacher

“As a result of MEC courses, math makes sense in a very motivating and exciting way. I feel cheated that I did not grow up thinking that all those equations and concepts just explained the real world.”  - 4th Grade Teacher
