Math educator Dr. Ruth Parker to speak at second session
A dynamic speaker and nationally known educator will meet with parents, teachers and administrators on Nov. 9 about critical changes needed in the teaching and learning of mathematics for all children.
Dr. Ruth Parker, founder and CEO of the Mathematics Education Collaborative, will speak at the free event from 6:45-8:30 p.m., at the Mercer Middle School auditorium.
This presentation is a hands on session geared toward the families and tutors of third- through eighth-grade students. Families are also invited to bring their fourth- through eighth-grade students.
