Build Capacity –Host MEC Sessions

“As a teacher in today’s world, I knew that I needed to help students understand the math –yet I couldn’t make that mental shift. After working complex problems in collaboration with other teachers through MEC, the light bulb went on.

I am now a more mathematically powerful teacher and can help all students become mathematically powerful as well.

I will use strategies that allow students to work in collaborative teams and individually, honor all the ways to solve problems, and encourage them to develop their own understanding of concepts for life.”  – 4th Grade Teacher
